From Sep 12-16, 2016, the top-tier conference of ubiquitous computing, UbiComp 2016, is hosted in Heidelberg, Germany. Yuanchun Li, the PhD student from our institute, has a first-authored paper accepted and won the honorable mention award. This paper, as titled "PERUIM: Understanding Mobile Application Privacy With Permission-UI Mapping", explores the privacy protection issue on smartphones. By mining the relationship between privacy access permission and the UI pages, it provides users with better understanding about the rationales and purposes of the privacy permission, thus promoting the research foundation about UI-based privacy access control. Other authors are Prof. Yao Guo and Prof. Xiangqun Chen.
