Miss Jie Zhang, a Ph.D. student supervised by Professor Lu Zhang, won the 2016 Microsoft Research Asia Fellowship Award. Note that in 2016 Microsoft Research Asia received such application of 110 Ph.D. students from China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and other countries in Asia. After the competition, only 10 Ph.D. students (including Jie) won this honor.
