Professor Gang Huang was invited to give a keynote speech entitled "Services Computing for Big Data: Challenges and Opportunities" at the 12th EAI International Conference on Collaborative Computing: Networking, Applications and Worksharing (CollaborateCom) on November 12, 2016. During his talk, Professor Gang Huang reviewed the history of service computing, and pointed out that in the era of big data, service computing should be used as the foundation to enable data openness and sharing. He introduced the long-term work of system software research group in Peking University, especially thecutting-edge technical work on "Data as a Service".
